Feeling old...

After two weeks of pain and swelling... lots of hours in a knee brace... elevation with ice packs... two doctors visits... an x-ray and an mri... I finally found out that I have a tear in the center of my posterior horn of the medial meniscus... or something like that. That means... no twisting of the knee or anything to cause it to tear all the way through. The doctor said it will probably tear eventually, but I could go 10-30 years without having any problems (or surgeries). Now that I am aware of it, hopefully I can prevent further damage from happening. I'm feeling old...
