Winter Break = Mental Health Recovery

When I woke up this morning, I had to think really hard before I figured out that it was Monday. The sun was shining through the window and I was still tangled in blankets. What a wonderful feeling! As you can see, I am thoroughly enjoying my time off. A perk/necessity of the teaching profession has granted me with THREE weeks of winter break. The first week of vacation was dedicated to Christmas and family. Although it was a little stressful and I am still recovering from a cold, it was nice to spend some time with family. This week will be dedicated to spending time with friends and Nick before he heads back to Oregon. After we ring in the New Year, I must spend my final week of vacation preparing for work. This will include grading papers, inputting grades, organizing paperwork and materials, cleaning the classroom, and mentally preparing for the long stretch until June... when the next installment of my mental health recovery session begins :)
